Do you have great ideas, but then you start to second guess yourself? Do you worry that you don't have enough skills or abilities to carry those ideas out? Maybe you want to start a business, make a career, change, or even just start a new hobby, but you often feel to tired or lazy to go after what you want. Maybe you're distracting yourself from pursuing your dreams because that's easier than failing.
...or maybe all of those apply to you because you have a closed solar plexus chakra.
January is a time for new beginnings, and for going after what you really want this time. You can't do that in a sustainable way if you are too scared or don't believe in yourself. The solar plexus chakra is the 3rd chakra, and is located a few inches above your belly button. This chakra relates to personal power, self-discipline, and purpose. I think of this chakra as your inner fire. You're intuiton guides you, but your solar plexus fuels you.
Here are same ways that you can start to balance your solar plexus chakra:
1. Setting goals. Having something to work for is great for your solar plexus. Even if right now you don't yet know the HOW of it all, set the goal. As you start to open your solar plexus chakra, you will find it easier to start taking steps towards the goal.
2. Journal. What scares you about the goal? Do you worry about what people will think? Do you worry you're not smart enough? Do you worry that there are other people doing it better? Write it down. Now, think of other times in your life when you have felt that way. Write them down. Feel the emotions of the events. Then, let them go by sending love and forgiveness to yourself and any other people in the memories. EFT is another effective way of releasing your emotions about the memories.
3. Crystals & Meditation. Incorporate your Tiger's Eye, or other solar plexus crystals to balance the chakra. Lay with the crystal on your solar plexus (a few inches above your belly button.) Visualize the yellow electromagnetic field of the crystal connecting with the electromagnetic field of the chakra. Close your eyes, quiet your mind, and breathe. Meditate like this for 10-20 minutes.
